I'm still here... though I was there.


Wow, had a whirlwind of a last six months. Work, school, Drama.. all the makings of great blog entries.
Well, not exactly. But I got an interesting gig that I just had to mention. I've been learning from a master street painter on how to paint with spray paint. I'll tell you from experience, cans are both more and less fussy than an airbrush. But, if the conditions are right (warm can, clean cap, and the right page from the sears catalogue) You can do truly intricate pattern and detail in a minimum of time. But that being said, I have some ideas on how it might be applied to larger acrylic paintings in a beneficial way.

But enough verbiage... Here's my first try :

Yay, I'm just glad I have new artwork of yours to see:-) The painting looks great and I can see a lot of Ed in it. I really think you can apply some of these techniques to your illustration paintings. I'm still waiting to see the tshirt design!
